Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026. Draft for legal review.

Peeko is made by Milkyas Amine (“we”). This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: your habits stay on your phone, there’s no account, no ads and no analytics, and we only send what’s needed to draw an AI mascot or fix a crash.

What stays on your phone

Your habits, schedule, the days you marked Done, your mascots, your name, the photos and stickers you turn into mascots, and your voice notes are stored only on your iPhone. We can’t see them.

What leaves your phone, and why

Making an AI mascot. When you ask the app to draw a mascot, the picture or words you give it are sent through our server to OpenAI (which draws it) and AutoSprite (which animates it). For an Avatar, that’s one selfie. A photo you pick is cut out on your phone first, so only the cut-out is sent. Our server doesn’t keep these images. OpenAI may keep them for up to 30 days to check for abuse, under its own policy. We ask AutoSprite to delete each character as soon as it’s made.

Keeping the mascot maker fair. To limit how many mascots each phone can make, our server keeps an anonymous ID created by Apple’s App Attest on your phone and a count of your tries. It isn’t tied to your name, email or Apple ID.

Crash reports. If the app crashes or hits a serious error, it sends a report to Sentry, our crash-reporting provider: what went wrong, the app version, and your iPhone model and iOS version. It never includes your habits, photos, voice notes or anything you typed.

Server logs. Our server, run on Cloudflare, keeps short technical logs (such as the time of a request and whether it worked) for a few days so we can fix problems.

What we don’t do

No ads. No tracking across other apps or websites. No selling or sharing your information for marketing. No analytics.

Our providers

OpenAI (AI drawing), AutoSprite (animation), Cloudflare (our server), Sentry (crash reports). They process information only to provide their service to us.

Children

Peeko isn’t meant for children under 13, and the AI mascot maker must not be used by anyone under 13.

Your choices

You can use the app without ever making an AI mascot. You can delete everything on your phone at any time in Profile, then Delete all my data. To ask about the anonymous try count on our server, email support@heypeeko.com.

Where your information goes

Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date above and, for big changes, tell you in the app.
